Flying at both Alma, MI Avalon Tahoe Facility & Woodruff Lake Airport
Warm weather is now here and the outdoor flying season is in full swing. MMRCHA is now flying at their two facilities; Avalon Tahoe Air Park and Woodruff Lake Airport. Most nice weekends you will find our club members flying at one of our two beautiful facilities. Beginner instruction is also available. Help with radio controlled airplanes, helicopters, multi-rotors, is available. For those interested in model aircraft flying, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Feel free to stop by our club field and ask our member's questions. Also watch here for special events that our club may hold
New member and renewals are now being accepted for the 2016 flying season. Remember current AMA membership is required. Click on the link How to Join MMRCHA for AMA and MMRCHA renewal forms
Who We Are
Mid Michigan Radio Control Helicopter Association (MMRCHA) was founded in 2010, by a small but dedicated group of modelers.
We promote modeling of all kinds with most members having begun as fixed wing pilots. Many of us fly radio controlled airplanes as well as enjoying model helicopters. We are an Academy of Model Aeronautics sanctioned club and host events throughout the year.
Check out our Photos page for pictures of various events.
